This past Saturday, a team of police officers and even a police helicopter was dispatched to LA's Boyle Heights to shut down what they believed to be a “rave gone wrong.”
It turns out though that the flashing lights were from a crew of photographers who had all gotten together to shoot long exposure photographs of flames and sparks.
The KCAL reporter on the scene said that police thought it was a rave and with the large crowd at hand, dispatched such a large force of police officers. “They thought the crowd was getting out of control.”
