It's tough to make it big as an EDM producer these days, getting the perfect sound, mastering your tracks, understanding what people like- It's a lot to adhere to.
We as the listeners of music often appeal to the largest producers- getting used to that perfectly refined “Pop” electronic sound. Getting caught up in the hype of the latest big craze we often forget about the little guy, and moreover what it takes to make it in the industry.
Sometimes we need to stop and listen to smaller artistts still trying to provide something new.
Take Desembra, a small Sweden based producer trying to make a name for himself in the Trap, Dubstep and Glitch genres while adding his own personal touch to the sound (like every good artist should). Clocking in at the ripe old age of 15, this young producer has seemingly had an interest in EDM for quite some time, and has been laying relatively low on the producer scene for the past 4 years!
Regardless of age, Dessembra has honed his talents to an esteemed level, producing more than a few decent titles. Borrowing the sweet melodic vocals of Aloma Steele, the artist's latest track Midnight, brings a delectable new flavour to glitch.
