The newest addition to Mad Decent‘s junior all-star team, Unlike Pluto teams up with Kickraux for a debut release on “The Jeffrees” today. Unlike Pluto, who burst into the EDM scene with his HypeM #1 remix of Diplo's “Revolution,” gained support from Diplo, Big Gigantic, Oliver Heldens, R.L. Grime, and others in recent weeks and delivers some great originals here that back up his now-famous remixes. These two free downloads are cut from the same vein.
While “Palace” brings some of the same soulful energy as his previous work, Kickraux compliments his style beautifully. Known for his remix of OG Bobby Johnson with Major Lazer's Walshy Fire, his subtle trap-style gives “Palace” plenty of edge. “Tew” is another stellar freebie from Unlike Pluto that will capture your imagination with it's indescribable melodies and beats.
