A border crossing collab right here, as the new single by Slovenian producer UMEK gets a lively vocal treatment by Atlanta Hip/Hop honcho Waka Flocka. As it happens, Cheezin is a full fledged house tune, bursting of groove, just as we've gotten used from UMEK, building momentum with rolling bass lines and high energy synth stabs. Then there’s Waka Flocka, showcasing his characteristic vocal style in a rousing blast of party mania. As promised, the pair delivers some body moving stuff made for several floors out there.
The feedback, as they say, speaks volumes. Cheezin already got a load of DJ support, from house jocks like Oliver Heldens, Junior Sanchez and Pep & Rash to a varied range of artists like Avicii, Gregor Salto, Chuckie, The Partysquad, Tommie Sunshine and BBC Radio 1’s Mistajam.
Meanwhile, the Cheezin video already counts over half a million views on YouTube since its release a couple of weeks ago.
