Porter Robinson is by far one of my favorite artists. His Worlds album makes me feel so many ways no other artist can. When I see a remix of any of the tracks on that album, I am instantly interested to see what other artists can add to Porter's work. Juventa just recently released his own take on “Flicker” by Porter Robinson and it brings a more upbeat progressive element to the song, while maintaining the emotion invested into it. I think the most important aspect when remixing a song is making it your own, while working around the vibe and feeling put forth by the original artist. Juventa executes that concept perfectly and recreates “Flicker” in an amazing way. It is worth at least a few listens in my honest opinion and it is a free download so what is there to lose?
