Get the bass cannon ready, because the young LA producer TROWA has got a new round of ammunition that packs one hell of a punch with his “All I Know EP”. Released just a few days ago on Play Me Records, Trowa shows us that he's ready to drive the bass music forward, with 3 originals, “All I Know”, “Like A Weapon” and “Out There” plus two remixes to the track of the same name as the EP.
The first track “Like A Weapon” brings a hard rock guitar, followed by a hard yet familiar bass. The Neuro sounds make for a rocking bassline, and wonderfully designed leads make for one absolute banger. “All I Know” features the lovely vocals of Katherine Ramirez, and Trowa continues to bring the filth with the Neuro bass that would have legendary groups dying for a collab. This one is perfect for a race down a double-black on your snowboard (if you're still in season wherever you are, if not equally awesome for a day on your skateboard/longboard). The third original “Out There” is a hybrid trap track that is ready to blow you away, and that's about the only words I can find for it. You need to listen for yourself to see what I'm talking about.
The remix by B.R.E.E.D and Trowa's Bottle Service Remix build on the absolute banger by creating two completely different vibes the original track didn't have. The Bottle Service Remix has a nice opening with the club classic four on the floor beat, but don't expect this to be your typical electro house track because he brings the hammer at the drop. It reminds me of some Big Room tracks, crossed with some monstrous Bass Music. The sound production quality is professional grade to say the least. The Remix by B.R.E.E.D adds a totally new feeling to the song, bringing it to the opposite end of the spectrum of genre's with a future bass rendition of the track, and a well done change I might add.
