Teaming up only a couple of years ago, Dutch duo Bougenvilla has already left quite an impression. Armed with a very distinctive trademark sound, moving from house to big room, their productions got released on imprints from Spinnin' Deep to the Tiësto run label Musical Freedom back when the duo released their collaboration with Marc MacRowland called Voodooz in February 2015. Meanwhile their hot blooded performances behind the decks do the rest of the job, Bougenvilla simply is the go-to act when it comes to exciting new tunes.
After Voodooz got picked up by loads of DJs, ranging from Oliver Heldens and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano to Tiësto, Sander van Doorn and Martin Garrix, now here’s the follow-up to that hit. Typically Bougenvilla, this record sounds completely different, as it’s a rework from the early 90s dance classic Homeless by Crystal Waters. This time round, the Bougenvilla duo takes the original organ melody and vocals from Jared Hiwat reviving these into an infectious piece of house music.
Immediately supported by house heads like Oliver Heldens, Gregor Salto, Larry Tee, Pete Tong and Danny Howard it’s about to go places. And by the looks of the video, it’s seems like the official prelude of summer 2015. Homeless will be released on Monday 23rd of March on Spinnin’ Deep, just in time for Miami Music Week and Festival season.
Below here’s an exclusive video premiere! Enjoy!!
