In an industry where big room house producers are pushing out track after track resulting in diluted sounds in dance music, it's refreshing to see DJ's actually mixing on the decks. Each year the DMC hosts the DJ Team Championship where groups of DJ's can show off their talent. This video shows the mind blowing performance from 9 0'Clock that took home 1st place back in 2014.
The group isn't just simply mixing tracks back and forth. Each DJ has their own mixer and turntable, cutting up tracks with a perfect sense of timing that results in the formation of actual songs. They feed off one another, even switching spots mid performance. The crowd can definitely feel their energy. These DJ's could definitely teach some of the artists we know a thing or two.
