“One year ago I wrote my bachelor thesis in music technology and production. Mentally I had prepared myself for one more year in school becoming a music teacher. Never in my mind would I have imagined having a platinum record, but today I got it with #oldthingback. I just want to give a big shout out to all my loving fans because without you there would be no Matoma. I am forever grateful for that. We need to celebrate this with a new track! When I went to Miami I got so inspired by the vibe there and I really wanted to do a feelgood summer track, here it is, by one of my biggest Idols Will Smith!”
