This project is really awesome. This is my first impression of Dead Battery and I couldn't be more impressed. The Austrian producer's new project Chapter 1: Dreaming In The Void is part one of a continuous, multi-genre LP and it is dark, moody, and emotional. The opener, “Die Another Day” features a bad ass live drummer, who flails around on his kit adding in various fills to spice up the minimalistic-ly chill production, creating an amazing hybrid electronic / rock sound to the table. That single to me is the stand out track on this project but the remaining three songs are also incredibly dope; effortlessly gliding back and forth between a handful of different genres, Dead Battery really pushed the envelope on this release and I respect that. Music has no boundaries, and he really proved that on Chapter 1: Dreaming In The Void. Stream it now below:
