After years in business, KFC North Perth in Australia shut down its doors for the last time ever. To honor what was said the “shittiest KFC in the Perth metropolitan area,” the people of Perth decided to send KFC off with an illegal rave.
The local promoter crew ‘Get Weird' started a Facebook event on Friday which soon after went viral. The promoters said “We did not expect it to get this much attention and realistically the venue would only hold around 40 people, so 1000+ would be potentially dangerous. We ask that people do NOT attend this KFC tonight (unless you just want to buy some chicken that is).” At the very last minute though, ‘Get Weird' uncancelled the event leaving Australia to party at KFC.
