The soundtrack to Disney's Tron: Legacy is arguably the best part of the movie. Of course Daft Punk were the brains behind the music, scoring the entire film. The duo worked with Joseph Trapanese for over two years on the score, combining a mixture of orchestral and electronic music.
Tron 3 was initially set to begin filming this fall, with main actors Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde already signed on. Unfortunately the team experienced delays with script and production, causing plans for the 3rd installment to be cancelled. It was rumored that Daft Punk would return to score the latest film in the series, but for now, there are no plans for Tron 3's future.
Since Tron: Legacy grossed $400 million worldwide, we're not giving up hope quite yet.
