Night 2 of Bassnectar‘s mega Red Rocks weekend to close the month of May was a hot ticket – one that attracted fans from far and wide among Bassheads. We could only imagine that Bassnectar had some magical tricks up his sleeve and of course a few of his special moments were captured on film by YouTube user Joel Thorstenson.

Bassnectar pays homage to his memory here with one of his thought-provoking quotes. Hicks passed away from pancreatic cancer in 1994 at the age of 32.
