In 2014, Duck Sauce delivered what was the greatest “as seen on TV” product ever with their track ‘NRG', which would later be remixed by Skrillex, Kill The Noise, and Milo & Otis. Now, Brillz has decided to take the festival-favorite to the next level with a “one man band” cover, stating:
“I think that DJs and producers can do more than just work on a laptop and I think that especially in this digital age we have to keep it organic. If you play instruments, you can't lose sight of that because that is the human part of music that we all need.”
The video below goes behind the scenes with Brillz, featuring the DJ recording various instruments, both real and random. By random I mean random organic sounds; for example, Brillz using a recording of their studio's door slamming as a clap sample. Honestly, how Brillz produces the cover is pretty insane, check it out!
