After Taylor Swift sent an open letter to Apple about her disagreement with their streaming practices, Apple responded by stating that they would in fact pay artists during a 3-month user trial period.
It didn't take long before Calvin Harris chimed in by stating “my girl just changed the entire music industry.”

Even David Lowery of the bands Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven stated that “She is the most powerful person in the music industry.”
