After selling out last year's sophomore edition, Northern Nights Music Festival returns in just two weeks and we're here to give you the low down. The Piercy, CA festival goes down for three days (July 17-19) on Cooks Valley Campground. It's becoming quite a popular mid-summer event with a great lineup once again: Black Star with Talib Kweli & Yasiin Bey, Shlomo (with a live band), The Polish Ambassador (with guests), Sweater Beats, Justin Jay, Labrat, and many more outstanding talents that we've featured on EDM Sauce from across the spectrum.
NNM also comes highly recommended from returning fest-goer friends and positive energy is apparent – in large part to the venue and its community-driven Nights crew and volunteers. The event ranks as one of the top fests in the U.S. by many festiver reviewers. Fest300 ranks this as one of the top 30 U.S. festivals (coming in at #16). It was also chosen as one of the most environmentally friendly festivals (a Greener Festival Award winner). What's waiting for you? A hybrid kickback jamfest full of art, nightly burlesque shows, food and beverage options, thought provoking workshops, yoga classes, and more.
And the icing on the cake is Northern California itself. One festival veteran named Caroline raves, “Northern Nights is the greatest thing to have ever existed on this planet. I love the river, I love the Redwoods, and I love the people. Can't wait to celebrate life, music, and art in 2015!”
Everything but pretentious – and a chance to get off the grid awaits. Get your tickets HERE starting at $215 General Admission with upgrades and camping prices. Get the full info on their WEBSITE.
