Landing itself today as a free download is another remix from the remarkable bass producer PhaseOne. This time around, he has turned his attention to reworking “Rot”, one of the singles from mighty metal-core collective Northlane – who also hail from Australia.
Taking on such a powerful track could be a daunting task, but PhaseOne tackles “Rot” with ease, bringing enough of his own flavors to it. Using those distinctive vocals as a basis, he creates tension with slow moving chords on the intro, before descending into madness and the chorus meets its climax – with the earth shattering bass line and explosive drops now becoming the main focus.
