Recently, we've had plenty of electronic masters decide to give listeners a taste of their history with some major collection drops. Deiselboy comes to mind (he recruited fans to give him some copies).
According to his alias user account “user18081971” on Soundcloud, Aphex Twin is about to drop some of his library into the streaming service. He contacted fans on this SoundCloud through his bio by saying,
“Im VERY happy to report that ive found loads more old tapes i never encoded or gave to anybody, been looking a lot on / off last few months and found around 7 tapes, most of which have 20+ tracks :))) Will upload/release soonish”
Earlier this year, Aphex dropped about 200 or so tracks to this Soundcloud page and now fans even have a chance to vote (via Reddit) for which of those will be released. Fans can choose their top 30 favorite tracks there.
