Mr. Bill and Ryanosaurus have been giving glitch hop a strong dosage of playful funk since 2009 with their Electrocado project and now that they're back… with a gigantic offering that merges groovy with hair-raising underground. The “Scribble” EP has 11 delicious tracks meant for an out-of-body experience.
Some have beautiful cinematic builds while others morph into electro nu-disco funk… and then some have both… like “Circadoian Rhythms,” a personal favorite. There's some great collaborations here with artists like fellow Aussie Circuit Bent, a hypnotic collab with vocal-cutting genius with the Canadian duo FM Radio Gods… plus a couple tracks with Morgan Agren.
