Hailing from New York City, TKDJS has found their niche re-working uplifting vocal anthems and turning them into dance floor scorchers. They first made waves less than a year ago with their remix of Ariana Grande’s “Problems,” and the emerging producers have only since continued their rise to stardom. Last month, TKDJS unveiled their remix of Blonde’s “All Cried Out,” which we learned was the first remix in a three-part series meant to give a different perspective into their unique sound, and for the second installment, they’ve taken on UK legends, Basement Jaxx, and their most recent hit, “Never Say Never.” Gone is the bubbly synth arrangements, smooth piano melodies, and deep groove of the original, and in its place are thumping kicks, atmospheric bass wobbles, and ever-evolving percussion arrangements as TKDJS have morphed “Never Say Never” into a bassline house jam most fitting for a late-night AC Slater Night Bass show. TKDJS have made their remix of “Never Say Never” available as a free download, so there's no reason not to have this banger in your library.
