Even though the Dutch DJ and producer has taken the title for DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs for the past two years, Hardwell says he believes another artist will win this year.
While speaking with MTV, Hardwell revealed that he believes Martin Garrix should be the #1 DJ this year.
Hardwell said:
“As a DJ I think he’s been flawless these last few years and in the studio he’s making fantastic music, which really has this amazing vibe and energy to it when played in clubs. His experience is really shining through; he has all the makings of a number one.”
Only time will tell at this point whether or not Martin Garrix will win the title. Unfortunately we'll just have to wait until October when the results are announced.
