Avicii has been known to take chances with new styles of music. He's not afraid to veer off the beaten path from the standard electro we've become used to in the dance music scene.
This time the DJ has decided to explore the funkier side of dance music infused with soulful sax and vocals by Swedish songwriter Kristoffer Fogelmark and Def Jam's Earl St. Clair. Avicii doesn't forget to throw in some pangs of deep bass that accompany the vibe of ‘Pure Grinding' perfectly.
The track is part of his latest LP ‘Stories', ‘This song is really different than anything I’ve ever done,” says Avicii. “I had a lot of freedom to explore new sounds on Stories'. Listen to the track below from a Rip from his Levels Podcast.
