This Sunday, Verboten is bringing quite the lineup to their StageOne series. Maceo Plex, DJ Tennis, David August (Live), Rebolledo and special guest DJ Koze. This sort of thing does not happen very often, especially during the summer, and especially not at a day party. If you aren't familiar with Verboten or their StageOne series then I highly recommend taking the trip into Brooklyn to see for yourself.
The venue is located right down the street (50 Kent to be exact) from Verboten and has a wonderful view of Manhattan. As for the sound system, they have a full setup as well as satellite speakers placed through out the crowd to ensure that everything is sounding crisp and clear no matter where you are.
The day portion of this mini festival begins at 1pm and goes non-stop until 10. After that the brave souls that are still standing can head to Verboten up the street for the after party that will go until the last person stops dancing (I've been there until 6 or 7am). Tickets range in price from 60 dollars for a single day pass, 80 for a day + night, to 120 for VIP day + night. I'd say these are extremely reasonable for the talent you're getting!
