It's a pretty tall task to remix an artist with such fan fare and firepower as Kaskade but Washington D.C. native, Nazariff, wanted to show the public his take on Kaskade's hit, “Disarm You”. With a very fresh sound design, having roots sprung from progressive and trap based beats, Nazariff takes on this challenge and conquers it with this remix. The track seems to play off of the haunting lyrics and minor based progressions to create a unique sounding 4/4 drop intertwining electro, progressive, and psy-like elements to create a refreshingly new style. The record seamlessly morphs into head-bobbing 808 patterns while still maintaining its structure and integrity in the latter measures of the hook. Nazriff explores his technicality and pushes taste-making barriers with this remix and I suggest that you listen to it a few times before grading it as it took a few rounds for it to grow on me. Grab some Headphones and find some quiet time. This is a producer on the rise.
