Oliver Heldens is a man of many talents and a man of many names. He experienced a meteoric rise to superstardom while serving as the flag-bearer for the then-emerging future house genre, before showing off his tastemaking talents with his Heldeep Records imprint this year. Recently, the Dutch phenom has been shying away from his Oliver Heldens persona in favor of his grittier, bass house moniker, HI-LO, with tracks like “Crank That” and “Wappy Flirt.” HI-LO's third track, a bass house edit of Da Hool's 90s classic, “Meet Her At The Love Parade,” is like a cross between a 90s underground rave and 2015 music festival. Old school synth sequences build the track to its climax of thumping kicks and whomping bass wobbles that will have “MHATLP” surely dominating this festival season.
