Porter Robinson is one of the reasons I write about music today. In fact, as I sit down to write this at my kitchen table I am wearing a t-shirt from Porter's World's Tour. Therefore, I was really excited when I came across an amazing remix of Porter's “Natural Light” by English producer Tsonars a few days ago.Tsonars transformed “Natural Light” from a melodic track fitting of a twilight dream state into a massive future bass track that the whole world would bob their heads to. The addition of some big drums and heavy synths convert this into a track full of power and emotion that sounds like something Porter himself would have produced (not to take away from Tsonars own individual artistic expression). Do yourself a favor and take a listen to this song provided in a link below! Porter if you are reading this, I suggest you add this into one of your sets. I promise you the crowd will go nuts. After a quick glance through Tsonar's social media accounts I learned a few shocking facts. Tsonars is 17, this was his first track posted, and he has a new EP in the works. I am both astonished and intrigued. Follow Tsonars on Soundcloud, Twitter, and Facebook to get the heads up when his new music drops. I will be patiently waiting.
