LED presents kicks off a great event in San Diego tonight so we thought we'd share a preview of the artists in attendance. The sold out event, “Tramps Like Us,” will take place at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego (3500 Sports Arena Blvd). Headliners Adventure Club will close out the show with impressive acts all around. Here's a look at the artists (set times below the list):
UFO!
The Northern California native is well known for his work in trap music. He recently dropped this bootleg remix of NWA that will be out soon as a free download. Influenced greatly by the hip-hop juggernauts, his style continues to merge hybrid trap, gangster rap, and melodic sounds from another dimension.
HeRobust
This artist from Georgia continues to break the boundaries with his unique style. The Huffington Post said that he is an “EDM specialist crafting new approaches.” Check out this EP he released with Snails about a month ago on Skrillex's OWSLA imprint.
Branchez
A New York native who broke out with his self-released originals and bootlegs, Branchez is famous for his awesome production and definitely a name to watch heading into 2016. Check out his latest remix for Fools Gold, which the label describes as a combo of “Tropical breaks, uber-funky sub bass, relentless techno.”
Kryder
This breakout act recently started his own label called Sosumi Records and is on the rise quickly after a few major label releases over the past couple years. Check out this BBC Radio 1 Essential mix he recently put together.
Brillz
An outstanding live performer with incredible versatility. His brand “Twonk” represents his project in full, backed by a Clothing line and some great full-length releases called “Twonk” and his “Re-Twonked” remix album with mixes from Bro Safari and UFO!, Jack Beats, and LOUDPVCK. He's also done some massive collabs and singles with artists like Diplo and Zedd. Check out this live set from Ultra Music Festival.
Martin Solveig
The veteran from France might be the most well-known act and he's a special guest for this event. Check out this classic called “The Night Out” below, which you may recognize from some hit films over the past few years. He has been consistently ranked one of the top 100 DJ's in the world by DJ Mag for nearly a decade.
Wax Motif
The young Aussie who now resides in Southern California should be one of the most anticipated acts this weekend. He's recently dropped a new EP on Mad Decent and is gathering buzz from all circles of the EDM world. Check out his latest mix for Diplo & Friends.
The progressive house and electro DJ from Las Vegas is one of the most well-respected names in the scene. A strong musical background helped his transition into dance music. The Canadian duo of Christian Srigley and Leighton James need little introduction.
