“Hey Mr. D.J.” is a song by American R&B group Zhané recorded for their debut album in 1994. The song was released as the group's debut single in August 1993 and peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The single was certified gold by the RIAA for selling 500,000 copies in the U.S. Trentino and Marc Adams took the powerful, sexy female vocals and laid them over a future house beat keeping them fresh with the times. The topline really is the best part of this song, and kudos to Trentino and Marc Adams for noticing that and working it into something that's danceable in the club today. Definitely check this one out and cop your free download here. Follow Trentino on SoundCloud, his account is full of great future house remixes and originals.
