Any serious trance fan has heard of Lange. A legend of the scene whose sound has forged one of the most consistent and elite labels in trance music, fostering numerous hit releases from some of the most talented producers. Hitting a huge milestone with their 200th release, he's making it his biggest yet, enlisting an all star cast of Lange regulars including Johnny Yono, Tempo Giusto, and more.
The first half of the EP,”Jackhammer”, brought to you by Lange, Tempo, and Stephen Kirkwood, seems more like something out of Lange's new Create Music label or even Tempo's own Echelon Records imprint, as it's it inhibits the agressive, tech trance, sound. “Hijackers” on the other hand, displays the traditional Lange vibe, with an anthemic breakdown and spacey tenor. Johnny Yono, Monoverse, and Somna do an excellent job at making Hijackers a very large scalle beat while still maintaning a serious groove.
You definitely hear each artists touch in the tracks and it's great to see how well each one came together. There's alot of great artists under the Lange umbrella and it's rare to find a label that does so much justice for it's roots while still evolving. No question one of the biggest trance packages of the year!
