EDM Sauce is proud to premiere a track which debuted as apart of Spinnin' Records ADE Night Mix back in October. The track is called, ‘Police' and it comes from Tony Junior & JETFIRE while also featuring Rivero. It will be officially released tomorrow (November 16th) on Doorn Records. ‘Police' is a high energy, big room house track that incorporates different elements and sounds of the three producers, making this one very special. The drop is where everything just goes bananas as the signature Tony Junior kick can be heard. The synths of JETFIRE and energy from Rivero truly bring this track together, along with some reggae vibe vocals throughout. ‘Police' has already seen support from some of the World's best DJ's/Producers and I can only imagine this will continue with its release. I had a chance to ask Tony Junior some questions about this latest release, what we can expect from him for the rest of 2015 and moving forward, and many more. Check out the interview and ‘Police' below!
You are releasing your latest track on Monday together with JETFIRE and Rivero called ‘Police'. Talk a little bit about the track and how it came about. How would you describe its sound?
“This is a typical example of a social media collaboration, nowadays you don't have to be in the studio together to finish a track. We had a really cool vocals to work with, and the rest of the track was finished really fast.”
2015 has been a huge year for you. What was the highlight so far? and what are your goals moving forward into 2016?
“The highlights of this year were tracks with Steve Aoki, Nervo, Borgeous and KURA. Also did amazing festivals during the summer and jumped on stage with Tiesto to play our new track Get Down' during AMF. That's also one of the highlights for 2016.”
Speaking of the year coming to an end, what are your favorite tracks of the year? what about any DJ's/Producers who you thought had a huge year?
“”My favorite tracks are deeper love By Jauz, 90's By nature By Showtek and Secrets By Tiësto. I think KSHMR became super huge in 2015.”
Looking back at your earlier days of when you got into producing and DJing to now, how do you think your sound has evolved or changed?
“I always think my tracks are ‘rock and roll' but it will get a little bit more danceable.”
You have a bunch of shows in the Netherlands from now until the end of the year, Can we expect to see you in the U.S. anytime soon?
“Because of a reality show on television I got a lot of exposure in Holland so I wanted to do a lot of shows here but in 2016 I'll be fully focused on my international shows again.”
What else are you currently working on?
“New Music and a new version of Tony Junior. I don't want to be that booty biting clown anymore.”
You're a rockstar with the ladies, so I know this is difficult question but if you had to choose one and only one…Studio? or Booty?
“If it's random booty I would choose studio, if it's the booty of my future mother of my kids I would choose the booty, my main goal in life is to create a happy family with kids.”
