Some of the lineup for Bonnaroo 2016 has dropped and it is nothing short of amazing. The 15th anniversary of this festival continues to follow its roots as it celebrates versatility in music by featuring artists from pop, to rock, to edm. Suffering a minor setback when the festival’s lineup leaked prematurely on the Bonnaroo’s app instead of being revealed on the Conan show January 19th, the hype remains never the more real as exciting new collaborations are set to perform including the joined forces of John Mayer and Grateful Dead members creating Dead and Company.
This year, the four-day camping festival beginning June 9th in Manchester, Tennessee includes an impressive collection of headlining artists such as Pearl Jam, J. Cole, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Miguel, and Hasley. Electronic artists attending the festival include The Chainsmokers, Zeds Dead, Adventure Club, RL Grime, Cashmere Cat, Flosstradamus, and Keys N Krates. Among other noteworthy performers are Lucius, Chvrches, Griz, Flux Capacitor, and Ellie Golding.
Though the lineup is subject to change with more artists yet to be announced, so far the festival includes 100+ artists set to entertain the many stages that play from 12pm to around 4am each day. The official list of artists can be found on the festival’s webpage along with background information on the festival for those unaware the many activities offered at Bonnaroo. In short, if you are on the hunt for a festival to attend in June that encompasses a melting pot of music while fomenting love, healthy living, and good vibes I would absolutely recommend securing yourself a ticket when they go on sale tomorrow at noon.
