Emerging from V Recordings this week comes the brand new double A-side single from Paul T and Edward Oberon, titled “Out Of The Dark/Surrender”. Showing the contrast between light and dark drum and bass wonderfully, this release from the UK based pair has got us feeling those untold vibes.
The pair have started 2016 off well, as V have officially signed them to the label, to which they say – “It was important for us to start working exclusively with V because we know how they appreciate artistry, and given their history we were more than excited.”
The first single, “Out Of The Dark”, is a lively affair that is awash with soul influences, balancing moodier melodies with feelgood synth riffs. On the flip comes “Surrender”, a darker, more raw sounding track that still uses Edward Oberon's slick vocals to great effect.
