Released this week through Australia label Micropope is “Baked Goods”, the impressive new two-track EP from production pair Varcity. Once again showcasing a strong approach to their work in the studio, both singles here show versatility.
Up first is the title track, a pumping slice of tech house that grows in intensity from start to finish. Blending slightly trippy vocals with tightly knit drums, “Baked Goods” is hard not to move to. On the second side comes “JR” – a classic house sound that plays around with Martin Luther King's “I Have A Dream” as vocal accompaniment.
