It was just two years ago when Deadmau5 went after modern trance and criticized Armin van Buuren's ‘A State of Trance.' Deadmau5 originally tweeted that “ASOT is about as much “trance” as Nelson Mandela is indie punk,” but Armin van Buuren quickly tweeted back that Deadmau5 should come play ASOT700 and show them what real trance is.
@deadmau5 why don't you come and play #ASOT700 and show us what "trance" is? Or backing out again?

Now just two years later, Deadmau5 has been confirmed to be playing ASOT at Ultra Music Festival 2016 and he will indeed not be “backing out” at this point.
