Year after year, Coachella Music Festival sells out in record time. Due to its popularity as a music festival, Coachella's organizers Goldenvoice decided in 2012 to extend the music festival to a two-weekend ordeal. This wasn't quite enough as the music festival continues to sell out.
Now the Desert Sun reports that an autumn music festival “is imminent.” According to Indio Mayor Glenn Miller, the city has been working with Coachella's promoters to bring forward a fall festival. In a result of this, Indio is expected to bring in an additional $1.4 million in revenue.
