Abraham Orellana, otherwise known as AraabMuzik, is currently recovering at the Harlem Hospital aftering shot multiple times last night in Harlem, New York. AraabMuzik was reported to have been shot in the right arm, head and jaw.
The 26-year-old DJ and producer were inside the ProPark America parking garage on West 125th Street and at around 7pm, the shootings occurred.
According to sources quoted by the Daily News, two people approached Orellana's car while he was behind the wheel and tricked him into thinking one of them had dropped something. Orellana rolled down his window, but then shots were fired immediately afterwards.
In addition to Orellana, his friend James Malloy, 32, was shot in the right leg and is apparently in stable condition.
This is the second time AraabMuzik has been shot in recent years. Back in 2013, Orellana was shot in an attempted robbery in Providence, Rhode Island.
