Philadelphia is a city with a thriving dance music scene. From the pulsating nightlife dominated by music venues rather than clubs, to the large spectrum of fans from all backgrounds and neighborhoods in the city, Philly has become a prime stop for tours of artists from all styles. While all genres are represented in the live shows that the countless venues in the city throw, the dominating area of EDM here in Philly is Bass music. Unlike many other cities in which the lighter more melodic side of dance music is largely over represented compared to bass muisc, Philadelphia loves to get down, dirty, and grimy with the best dubstep & trap acts in the world.
Philly's bass heads are in for a special treat next Saturday night as Snails is bringing his Enter Slugz City tour to the legendary South Street venue, the Theater of the Living Arts. Just this year the TLA has been home to many electronic acts such as Mr. Carmack, Jauz, Bro Safari, and many more.
Not only is Snails bringing his signature vomitstep sound to the TLA, but he is bringing along with him Never Say Die dubmaster Must Die. Between these two acts, the amount of bass that will be blaring out of speakers throughout the night will be one that will shake the TLA and it's attendees to the core.
If that wasn't enough the Philadelphia is blessed to be home to some of the best local DJ's in the country. Opening this show will be Actual Records acts Ruxbin and Get Up. Both of these acts have proven themselves in the city as some of the best at warming up a room, and they will bring a fantastic start to the night. Tickets are still available here so make sure to grab yours and catch this ridiculous night of bass! Doors open at 8pm and the show is 18+.
