English song writer, singer and occasional DJ Ellie Goulding has big news for us. Ellie Goulding is best known for some of her collaborations with Calvin Harris, Zedd and Major Lazer. After what she describes as a heartache with her ex-boyfriend, Ellie Goulding said that she will be quitting the music industry for at least a year.
Ellie Goulding opened up to the British publication The Sun and said “People think I’m invincible but these past few weeks have been tough. I’m not in a relationship any more and that’s been hard. Having a break will be a good thing for me and my head. I’m not writing new stuff. I’m not sure when I’ll release a new album. It might not even be next year. I need time off for my own head. Next year I need to live a bit. Who knows? My situation has changed.”
Ellie is currently on her Delirium world tour and will take some time off when the world tour ends in October. Let's just hope Ellie Goulding gets back to writing incredible songs like the one below in the near future.
