With this year's edition of Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival officially upon us, all eyes are on Bayfront Park, as everyone prepares Pendulum's highly-anticipated return to the stage. However, while Pendulum's return is sure to make the headlines, one of the artists that we're most excited to see this weekend is Felix Jaehn, who is preparing to make his Ultra Music Festival debut this year. The German youngster has experienced a meteoric rise in popularity within the last year, going from an up-and-coming name in the tropical house genre, to a platinum-selling, international superstar with his renowned remix of OMI's “Cheerleader.”
Since then, the melodic house luminary has been a mainstay on the festival circuit, playing festivals like Lollapalooza Berlin and Weekend Festival, and on the Hype Machine charts, with chart-topping releases like “Book of Love” and “Ain't Nobody.” In 2016, Jaehn is ready to turn the page to the next chapter of his career with the release of his magnum opus, which has yet to receive a title, and spread his brand of feel-good house music to the States, with forthcoming performances at Firefly Music Festival, and a highly-anticipated performance at Ultra Music Festival this Sunday at 4 pm.
To get you excited before Felix's can't-miss set this weekend, we've put together a list of 5 tracks that you need to know before the German luminary's Ultra Music Festival debut.
