Brooklyn-based duo The Golden Pony are the latest pair to take on Rudimental's single “Common Emotion” featuring Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, record producer MNEK out now via Big Beat Records. Turning the record into a dance floor anthem packed with subtle sonic shifts and an effortlessly huge chorus thanks to MNEK's powerful vocals. The guys remark, “Were huge fans of Rudimental! Especially live, they are able to effortlessly blend instrumentation with electronic vibes. We believe their music straddles a current and classic vibe at the same time, giving it a ton of crossover appeal. With that in mind for the remix, we decided to use hard hitting pianos reminiscent of the 90's New York House with some modern pitched vocals and Future Bass sounds.”
The Common Emotion remix EP comes out ahead of Rudimental’s tour alongside Gorgon City, which will hit five US cities throughout May 2016 and with tickets available HERE.
