With summer just around the corner, an exciting new wave of dance music has been hitting my plethora of entertainment feeds.
One of the newest tracks that graced my soundcloud was the magical Keep On by Zonderling. This funky progressive track offers an original spin to the general high energy intensity of most progressive tracks. The song originally caught my attention in the first anti-drop, where Bishøp‘s angelic voice hooked me with a heart melting “o-O-o-O-O.” This was followed by a full-body immersion into the pleasant world of flume-like synths and good vibes.
For all you fanatics out there who have a problem with basic/rudimentary song progressions, I am also extremely pleased to share with you that where many have failed, Zonderling succeeded. His second drop managed to retain the contagious energy of the song, in my opinion completely one-upping the first drop of the song (this definitely does not happen enough in EDM).I appreciate that though this track was labeled as progressive, I still found that it positively complimented my library of zen-like relaxing melodies.
