Police have reported that two men were stabbed during a brawl between security guards this past weekend. While no fans appear to be in danger, Sgt. Dan Marshall of the Indio Police Department told LA Weekly that “At the time of the incident the venue was not open.
The brawl began around 10:25am Sunday at the security check-in area. “The initial investigation uncovered that there was a verbal dispute between two different groups of individuals employed by the same security vendor working at the festival that escalated into a physical altercation.”
One of the victims suffered injuries to his head and has been hospitalized while the second victim received a stab wound to his abdomen and remains to be in good condition.
