“Been spending a ton of time in the studio recently, experimenting on ways to push my sound forward and challenge myself sonically. Last year, my track “Wine Dem” was a bit of a breakthrough for me and I wanted to focus on evolving that sound a bit with “Drop It Down Low”. Was awesome working with my buddy Richie Loop out of Jamaica on the vocals & pumped to finally work with Steve Aoki and his Dim Mak crew on the release!”
– Henry Fong
Having mastered a signature electro bounce sound, the dreadlocked Florida native Henry Fong is back with a massive dancehall & moombah infused track called, ‘Drop It Down Low' (out now on Dim Mak). Recently premiered on Hardwell On Air, the track features a sizzling beat, bouncing percussion and an urge to dutty wine and grind. The vocals are provided by Kingston’s Richie Loop, who adds an energetic and a flavorful chorus of ragga chants.
2016 is shaping up to be Henry’s biggest year to date. With the Halfway House collaboration ‘F.E.A.R (feat Sanjin)' reaching #1 on Beatport's Electro House chart and his remix of ‘The Riddler' taking the #2 spot on Beatport's Hip Hop chart, there is truly no stopping Henry. His latest release will surely follow suit and be one that will climb the charts. Check out the track below.
