Top 10 Artists To Look Out For At EDC New York

For the last five years, no matter what the venue, Electric Daisy Carnival has become a staple of the New York City festival scene. From MetLife to Citi Field, each venue holds countless memories to each and every headliner that has attended, and this years edition is shaping up to be no different. With two days of worlds biggest acts set to descended upon the big apple, 2016's installation is set to be EDC's biggest year yet!

With the event starting in less then 7 day's time, creating a proper festival lineup is absolutely key to making sure one has the best possible time over the two day festival. From headliners to the up-and-comers it is necessary to see it all, and lucky for you guys, we are here to do just that! Below is a list of the top 10 artists, in no specific order, that we think you all should check out at some point over the weekend. 1: Ferry Corsten presents Gouryella

An absolute legend of his craft, Ferry Corsten has firmly cemented himself, as one of the greatest trance producers of all time. What started out as alias years ago, has finally made its revival, and lucky for us, Gouryella for its New York City debut. This euphoric set is not to be missed, and for all my trance fans out there, you definitely know where we are coming from on this one!

2: Marshmello

For all my mello-gang fans out there, the announcement of Marshmello on this years EDC lineup is absolutely epic. Whatever this mysterious producer touches seems to turn to gold, and his sets are no different. A true master of his craft, Marshmello‘s melodic blends of future bass and trap music, continuously prove why, he was easily one of the break-out producers of 2015. Chalk this set up as a must see!

3: Lost Kings

From coast to coast, the Lost Kings could easily be considered one of the hottest up-and-coming duo's of 2016. Really hitting the festival circuit hard for the first time this year, the LA based duo has steadily rose to prominence due to their unique ability to effortlessly produce in and out of different genres. From progressive to house and everything in between, throw this one on the schedule for the sure!

4: Caspa B2B Rusko

What happens when you throw two of the biggest dubstep DJ's in the world on one stage together? Well the answer is plain and simple: an absolute facing melting experience that needs to be seen in person. Thankfully enough, the bass gods have come together, allowing for just that, Caspa B2B Rusko! There really isn't much more to say, but enjoy this one! It is going to be epic.

5: Kaskade

Headling a festival is never an easy task, but what Kaskade accomplished in 2015 at EDC New York was something out of a movie. Easily one of the best sets of last years event, this year will certainly be no different. Having released his ninth studio album back in August, expect this years set to be a blend between old and new, and for any Kaskade fan, that's really all we can ask!

6: Hot Since 82 Presents Knee Deep In New York

Like all good things, America often times takes a little longer to catch onto things that Europe has had for a while. Well lucky enough for us, the underground tech house scene has caught on big time in the United States over the past several years, and damn has it grown. Headlining his own stage, the British legend, Hot Since 82, is a must see for all underground lovers and music fans alike. Some may not enjoy this specific sound, but give it a chance, it will definitely grow on you.

7: Seven Lions

Having released his newest EP less then a month ago, Seven Lions is back and better than ever. Never limiting himself to one genre, this California native has become one of the brightest producers of the past several years. His euphoric tracks never cease to amaze any of us, paving the way for life changing sets. This set is a must see!

Since his sell out show at Madison Square Garden, the big apple has been buzzing for a return of the grammy nominated producer, ZeddWith enough hits to generate a day's long playlist, his one hour headlining set, is definitely going to want us leaving more, but hey, you get what you get right? There definitely may be some conflict with this set time, but if you've never seen Zedd live before, we definitely recommend it!

9: Madeon (DJ Set)

Its definitely been quite a bit of time since the young frenchman, Madeon, has put out a new tune, but damn are we patiently waiting. Having capped off his headlining tour, Pixel Empire, back in February, its officially time for the young up start to come back to New York. Set to grace us with a DJ set on Saturday the 14th, this set is a must see for new and old fans alike!

10: Jauz

This could easily be a contested selection for this list, but coming off an absolutely monster 2015, Jauz is showing no signs of slowing down. In line with Marshmello, his music is absolutely stellar and so are his sets. With a heavy bass lineup this year, it comes as no surprise to see Jauz on this list with some of the best. Definitely carve out some time for this guy because his set is going to be massive.
