The rise of Monstercat as one of the authoritative brands in bass/electro music is not hard to grasp. So few labels bring on as many fresh, innovative, and just downright talented young artists as Monstercat does. Mr. Fijiwiji is one of their star players whose made a name for his mellow and moody sound that he's been able to deliver in the form of both house and bass music. His Dogma EP highlights his strengths extremely well, but what really stands out is his collaborative effort “Time To Say Goodbye”, a track featuring fellow Monstercat beatmaker, Direct, and all star vocalist and DJ, Aruna. While Direct's productions tend to go hand in hand with Fijiwiji, this is a new horizon for Aruna, who is normally a trance/house vocalist. However, Aruna shows that her angelic voice and fearless conviction can suit pretty much anything, and combined with the hazey, melodic rhythms and dreamy bassline, you have yourself a hit. Already debuting at #3 for the itunes Dance Top 200 albums chart, Dogma is shaping up to be Mr. Fijiwiji's biggest release yet and a warm welcome into the Bass Music community for Aruna.
