“I started writing and recording “Soul Mother” in a rainy apartment in San Francisco in 2012. It sat in my hard drive wasteland for another 2 years, until I sent Getter a file of ideas last Spring. “Soul Mother” was his favorite idea out of everything I sent. Getter & I grew up together. We always start our ideas together in person, however this track was the first and only track we've ever created that we weren't together during the creative process.” – Oliver Tree
