Six years ago, Skrillex officially released his debut EP, ‘My Name Is Skrillex.' At the time, Skrillex was a hard-working music producer trying to break into the dance music scene. Just prior to Sonny Moore's ‘Skrillex' project, Skrillex was in a post-hardcore band titled ‘From First to Last.'
Skrillex's EP ‘My Name Is Skrillex' was self-released for free on Skrillex's Myspace page on June 7, 2010 and instantly changed the game. Since then, Skrillex has won a total of eight Grammy Awards and holds the record for most Grammys won by any electronic dance music artist.
