Hugel's “Where We Belong” is one of those club tunes that manages to retain greatness and listenability. Now take German house duo Plastic Funk who have had great success with their recent remixes, especially their version of Tank & Cheeta's “Trust”, and let them work their housey magic. Jasmine Thompson needs no introduction and the original's disco-esque feel provides the perfect foundation for a slappin house track. Plastic Funk keeps the remix from being throwaway festival fodder, and aside from the future house bass and turnt up kick, the track preserves a large amount of elements from the original. Great day or nightime summer song and a fine addition to Plastic Funks growing resume.
