Released through UZ's Quality Goods Records comes the latest offering from Tascione in the form of his brand new, future-sounding EP “Smoke And Mirrors.”
The New Jersey hailing producer has already began to carve a name for himself with some blistering remixes and originals, he now offers “Smoke & Mirrors” as a chance to get to know his distinctive style a little better.
Up first comes the EP’s title track ft. Ian Everson; those smooth vocals providing a slick opening before the built up tension descends into a bass-ridden, weighty breakdown.
Tascione joins forces with Kompany for “Paranoia”, this one an atmospheric, murky number – before “Lights Out” drops – expect snappy riffs, snatches of pitched vocals and swooping, screeching drops. Finally we have “Enigma”, another striking dubstep/trap hybrid with an intense, ricocheting bassline.
‘Smoke and Mirrors' is an exhilarating ball of energy that does not quit – bag your copy here.
