Its that time of the year again when everyone gathers and waits for the sun to go down each night eagerly awaiting the Moonrise Festival to rise again for its third year in a row in Baltimore Maryland. Hosted by Glow Washington DC & Steez Promo, Moonrise Festival takes place 11am to 11pm August 6th and 7th at the Pimlico Race Course. Festival dwellers migrate from their home towns to top off the festival season with the unforgettable Moonrise Festival. This year the festival will be hosting some of our nations favorite artists in the industry including Bassnectar, The Chain Smokers, Tiesto, Zedd, Mashmello, Jauz and many other notorious artists.
This year Moonrise will have four state of the art stages and plenty of “good vibes” to go around. The festival has made many changes to accommodate the needs and wants of the patrons and improve the overall experience. These changes consist of adding a second entrance, optional early wrist band pickup the day before the festival, more bathrooms and water stations, Improved Décor, as well as adding more hand picked food vendors to the already exquisite food tents.
Moonrise is considered one of the best festivals on the East coast for multiple reasons! The overall open environment offers many spots for relaxation, food breaks, dance circles, and even just a place to get away from the mass crowds of fellow music lovers for some fresh air every once in a while. Unlike other festivals Moonrise is very easy to navigate and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The overall vibe is meant to feel welcoming and safe to all patrons attending the festival. We asked several Moonrise veterans what their favorite part of previous years was and got an overwhelming amount of positive feedback including,“mind blowing stage production,” “delicious restaurant style food,” “getting to see ALL my favorite artists,” “Friendly staff and security team who seem to enjoy the music themselves” and many other similar responses.
